2018 Remission Cabernet Sauvignon
The Story:
Remission is a big, full bodied, smooth drinking cab with muscular tannins and a complex palate. Very approachable today but with enough structure to age nicely as a premium Napa Cab. Aged 22 months in French oak, the 2018 Remission Cab has its roots firmly in some of the finest terroir in Napa coming from the Pritchard Hill side of the illustrious Stagecoach Vineyard in Napa Valley.
2016 Remission Cabernet Sauvignon
The Story:
Remission is a big, full bodied, smooth drinking cab with muscular tannins and a complex palate. Very approachable today but with enough structure to age nicely as a premium Napa Cab. Aged 22 months in French oak, it hails from the top of Stagecoach Vineyard, one of the preeminent vineyards in Napa Valley, giving it the slower ripening, smaller clusters and dense, black fruit characteristic and big backbone tannins of mountain wines. Some notable wineries sourcing fruit from Stagecoach include Paul Hobbs, Caymus, Krupp Brothers, and Alpha Omega.
